Turkey is a country that I would like to visit again.
The city of Istanbul is full of awesome architecture, history and gastronomy, while the Cappadocia region in central Turkey is known for its strange old stone houses and popular balloon rides. If you are looking for unique rocky landscapes in the style of Utah, Cappadocia is your thing.
FLUTE
Turkey has two major international airports, Istanbul (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen (SAW). Both are located in Istanbul and offer direct flights from many countries around the world. In fact, it is one of the busiest airports in Europe.
There are also domestic airports in popular tourist places, such as Cappadocia. You can buy flights to Turkey on Skyscanner.
Security
Turkey is a relatively safe tourist destination with a low accipitral crime rate of 4.3 per 100 thousand inhabitants (31% less than the world average). I have traveled to many parts of Turkey and I have not seen any crimes. intimidation is generally not a problem here, and the attitude towards foreigners seems to be welcome.
Climate
The climate of Turkey varies from the Mediterranean (in Istanbul) to the continental (in the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey).
Istanbul has hot, sunny summers and mild, rainy winters, while Cappadocia has hot summers and cold winters with a lot of snowfall. Autumn is probably the best time to travel to Turkey, but every month of the year is fine.
Budget
Turkey is a fairly inexpensive destination with hostels starting at 200 Turkish lira (7 ) and private hotels starting at 500 weight. The meals are surprisingly inexpensive and good and cost between 50 and 200 lire, depending on the place.
Transportation in Turkey is usually done by car and can be rented, but hiring a driver is quite inexpensive and often preferable. Transportation apps like Uber are available in Istanbul, but use them discreetly because they are not appreciated by the taxi industry.
